Thank You Failure

Hello Failure,

You entered in my life when I was in 4th standard. I didn't welcome you with happiness, rather cried a lot when I faced you for the first time.

In fact, I screamed out loud to have you in my life. But my father gave me a different perspective to look at you. He told me that I fell down from a very first step of ladder and it is very easy to stand up again and go upstairs. From then onwards, you and me became friends, and we started meeting in different occasions.

Success used to knock my door very rarely and at some special occasions, especially in ones which I was good at.

In contrast, you always came to meet me, in different occasions and encouraged me to push my boundaries away.

I know you might have kept some grudges in your heart for me because when I failed in 4th standard, I didn't want you in my life.

I also want you to know that you are one of the best things that happened to me.

In these 23 years I failed in many ways yet those failures taught me enough basics to later excel in those respective fields in which I failed.

I hereby apologize to you for not looking at the bright side of your presence in my life.

In addition, I want to thank you for always being there with me, irrespective of the presence of success in my life because it is you, not the success, that keeps me down to earth.
