A Definition Of Planning
Solved My Life’s Major Problem:
Few Minutes After The Lecture
Began, Tanya Nagpal Mam Asked Us About Our Views On The Word “Planning”.
Many Students Including Me,
Raised Their Hands To Answer The Question. As Ahmad And I Were Sitting
In The First Row, So We Got The Chance To Speak First.
“Planning Tells Us About When,
How And What Is To Be Done.”, Ahmad Answered.
After He Finished, I Spoke,
“Planning Helps Us To Bridge The Gap Between Where We Are And Where We Want To
Be.”
The Moment I Ended This
Statement, I Became Blank And Thousands Of Thoughts Flashed Into My Mind.
Few Seconds Later, I Could Hear
The Voice Of Mam, But Couldn’t Listen To What She Was Saying, Clearly Because I
Went Mentally To Somewhere Else.
That One Moment I Realized That
The Only Reason I Had Not Been Able To Manage My Time Efficiently, Was The
Non-Existence Of Proper Schedule In My Life.
Now, I Was Certain That This
Lecture Was Very Vital For Me Due To Which, Without Wasting Any Second, I
Travelled Back Mentally To The Class.
I Witnessed Mam, Giving A
Statement, “Without Planning, We Cannot Do Other Functions Of Management, Such
As Organizing, Staffing, Directing, Etc.”
“Wow! That Makes Sense…”, I Said
To Myself.
I Started Replacing The Word
“Management” With “Time Management”. Now, I Wanted To Listen Even More
Attentively In This Lecture.
“We Need Planning In Our Daily
Life As Well And Hence You Are A Planner.”, She Continued.
She Later Discussed The Planning
Process Followed By The Types Of Plans.
Undoubtedly, The Lecture Was Very
Productive And I Appreciate The Way It Was Delivered As It Has Actually Helped
Me In Some Manner.
I Am Thankful To Tanya Mam For
Asking That One Little Question Which Has Put A Great Impact On Me.
Keep Learning :-)
Keep Sharing :-)
Thanks & Regards
Rohit Sood
