A Lecture That Taught Me A Lesson

A Lecture That Taught Me A Lesson

Today, In Accounting For Managers Lecture, When We Were Studying, “Conventions In Accounting”, There Came A Slide With A Word, ”Conservatism”.
I Thought To Myself, ”Okay, It Is A Prudence Concept. It States That “Anticipate For No Profit, But Provide For All Losses.”
I Was Going To Speak The Same But Didn’t, Because I Felt That Mam Would Explain The Topic Anyway. Hence, I Waited For The Next Slide.
To My Surprise, That Slide Carried The Words, “Anticipate No Profit But Provide For All Losses.”

That One Moment I Realized That I Still Remembered The Exact Words Even After 5 Years Of When I Heard Them For The First Time, From Annu Mam And Natasha Didi.
I Learned That “If We Write In The Lecture, We Have To Read The Same Again And Again, To Get Good Marks In Exam. However, If We Simply Listen Attentively In The Class, We Will Clearly Write Everything, On The Day Of Exam And Score Well, Without Making Any Attempts To Cram Them Prior To Exam.”

Thank You For Stopping By, To Read It.
May God Bless You.

Thanks & Regards
Rohit Sood

(P.S. I Don’t Know If That Is True Or Not But It Definitely Is Helpful And Therefore, I Felt Like Sharing It With You Guys Who Are Still A Student In One Form Or The Other.)
