THE ART OF LEARNING

THE ART OF LEARNING

April 08, 2018: The Day At Home

Sunday is one of the days on which we plan in such a way that we give most of our time to ourselves either by sleeping or by doing something we love the most. However, when tasks pop up, we tend to make work plans even more for the day. Similarly, I also planned to finish some of my pending tasks and prepare for my Operations Research Test. To my surprise, the day passed very quickly that I could manage to do the least of the tasks that I planned to do. Even though, it wasn't one of the productive days, I managed to learn some lessons from this day.
Things I Learned Today:
  1. It's never Time that limits your possibilities rather it is you and your own mindset that stops you from doing what you really want to do or must do.
  2. Nothing makes me feel better but writing.
  3. Issues come, go and leave mark on relationships but all in all, they make your bond even stronger if you do not give up on your partner.
  4. That awkward moment when you begin to get angry at the person you love a lot.

April 09, 2018: The Art of Forgiveness

This day had one of the most beautiful beginnings as it carried everything that we hoped for. I, along with my friend, created our own opportunity and lived the moments that are irreplaceable. In addition, I was bit concerned about my test of Operations Research as I could not revise in a best manner. However, I managed to complete my preparation before the test. Though I could not finish one sum properly, I do not have any regrets because I knew how to solve the given sums in the test.
As the test finished and I walked out of the room, I wasn't aware of what experiences were waiting for me but now! after experiencing all those situations, I have fortunate to learn some lessons that would help me to become a better version of myself.
Things I Learned Today:
  1. Read -> Gain Knowledge -> Confidence Follows.
  2. That amazing moment when your partner accompanies you to a place where only you are supposed to go. (P.S. Block 32)
  3. That awkward moment when you come to know that people gossip about you for the things you never said. (P.S. IMC Tutorial Adjustment)
  4. That astonishing moment when your partner handles your mistake with a smile on her face. (P.S. L.B.)
  5. A little mistake may put you in a situation where there is no come back. (P.S. Operations Research Test: Sum 1)
  6. Sometimes, we don't realize our mistakes and that's when we need others to make us realize them on time. (P.S. Consistent Behavior)
  7. Just because you are right, doesn't mean that you have the right to be rude. (P.S. This is the skill I need to learn in the time to come.)
Apart from the above learnings, there is something that I realized which I should have understood from a very long time i.e. It's not by saying or hearing Sorry, we make our relationships better but by forgiving others. I have always been in a habit of apologizing every time for all my mistakes but today, I found out that there is a way that I won't have to face a situation in which I have to apologize. In other words, there is a way that I don't mistake some unnecessary mistakes and that is just by freeing myself from the mistakes of others. I must learn to forgive others for their mistakes apart from apologizing them for mine. It's good to be Sorry for something you did wrong. But it is equally important to forgive others irrespective of whether they said Sorry or not. Thankfully, I am in a company of person who knows this skill quite well and I am planning to learn this skill from her. In addition, I am thankful to her for always forgiving me for my mistakes or rude behavior even if I miss to say Sorry at times.
