The Call From KPMG

April 18, 2018: The Call From KPMG:

After the first class was over, I was having a one hour break in which I was going to make my Derivatives assignment, however, I got a call from my friend, asking if I got a call from KPMG regarding the confirmation of the interview scheduled at 8:30 a.m. on this Saturday. Since that moment, I kept waiting for the call but there was no call. In fact, before the beginning of every lecture, I would go to the concerned faculty and tell them that I am expecting a call from KPMG for telephonic interaction/interview. Though the teachers for all the lectures agreed, the call did not come. By the end of the day, I got a call from the same friend to inform me that the list of shortlisted students for KPMG has been uploaded on UMS announcements and my name is included in it. Despite the fact that I did not get any call, my seriousness for the placement drive skyrocketed and I made a complete plan for my preparation so that I can get into the company which can add value to my career. 

Things I Learned Today:

1. Patience has a lot in its kitty to offer if it is chosen in right quantity at the right time.
2. That amazing moment when your loved ones begin to put efforts in making you a better person.
3. You know you have found the right person for yourself when they are willing to be with you despite all the pains you have given to them.
4. Sometimes, various omens come in different ways directing us towards one direction only. (P.S. The Call)
5. That awkward moment when you get angry for petty issues.
